Roots Music Festival
Brought to you by Fetish Lane This year's date is: July 11 & 12, 2008 Fetish Fest is a musical event held on the Goodwin Homestead farm in Guilford, NY (near Norwich). It is a weekend of music including acoustic, folk and bluegrass. It is also a weekend of friends, family, food, dancing, and good times. The party/festival is located on a farm nestled in the rolling hills of upstate NY. The main stage is the entrance to the barn, a perfect backdrop for the day's events. This year we will have three different stage locations! Friday night will take place inside the barn starting at 6pm sharp. On saturday there will be two outdoor stages. People are encouraged to pitch a tent on the grounds and sleep under the stars. Families with children and folks of all ages are welcome to attend. Unless, of course - you are mean.
We encourage people to bring their own coolers with beverages of choice. All people in attendance will be issued a wrist band at the gate. This year we will have music from 6 - midnight on Friday (climaxing with a barndance) and starting at 12pm on Saturday! Whites Pig Roast will be catering Fetish Fest this year and will be serving breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning! Keep in mind - this is a fun, relaxing, laid-back, musical day and we plan to keep it that way! In order to attend this year's event you must prove at the gate that you are a kind individual!

Alcoholic beverages are not for sale. Coolers are welcome. Anyone on site must be ready to show ID. Under 21 must be accompanied by an adult. Directions to Fetish Fest From Sidney, NY (coming from I 88)Take Route 8 north to Mt. Upton (about 10 miles). In Mt Upton, turn left at the flashing light. Go up hill and follow for about 8 miles until you come to another flashing light (Ken's Car Care is on corner) go straight through the light. The Wingood Homestead (Fetish Fest) is about a mile up on the right. From Oxford, NYFollow Route 12 north out of town and turn right on Rt. 35 (2nd light in Oxford going north). Follow about 1 or 2 miles up hill and turn left on New Virginia Rd. Follow New Virginia road all the way up the big hill until it splits at the top. Bare to the left. The Wingood Homestead (Fetish Fest) is about one mile ahead on the left. Email us if you need more help or have questions. Here is the weather on the farm. Subtract a few degrees for the higher elevation.
